Giancarlo Camillieri C.

Mr. Camillieri focuses his practice in regulatory matters, especially in environmental and natural resources law.

He joined Morales & Besa in 2017. Previously, he worked at the Department of Environmental Regulation of the Legal Division of the Ministry of the Environment. During 2018 he worked as a research assistant for S. James Anaya, Dean of the University of Colorado Law School, in matters related to indigenous peoples, local communities, and natural resources. During 2019, Mr. Camillieri was a Visiting Fellow and Legal Assistant for the NGO GCF Task Force, headquartered in Boulder, Colorado. This NGO works to protect tropical forests, reduce emissions from deforestation and forest degradation, and promote realistic pathways to forest-maintaining rural development.

He is a member of the Chilean Bar Association and the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation.
