James Channing E.

Mr. Channing concentrates his practice on construction, real estate, project finance and infrastructure matters.

He has experience drafting, negotiating project agreements (EPC, O&M, Asset Management, etc.) for toll roads, airports, power plants and real estate projects. He also has experience in M&A and financing transactions related to the infrastructure, energy and mining sectors. Mr. Channing has advised lenders, including multilateral financing institutions, project sponsors and contractors, in a wide range of cross border transactions.

Mr. Channing worked as international associate in the Miami office of Jones Day in the Projects & Infrastructure practice group (2016-2017).

 Prior to joining Morales & Besa in 2009, Mr. Channing was an intern of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS) in Hamburg, Germany (2009).

Mr. Channing has been actively involved in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court competition, several pro bono cases and charity initiatives of the firm.
