Lorena Barrientos E.

Ms. Barrientos specializes in all types of commercial matters, especially in the regular advice to local and international clients, in associations, corporate restructurings and mergers, financing in capital markets, and in capital market and insurance regulations.

Ms. Barrientos joined Morales & Besa in 2007. She worked as an international associate at the law firm Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, New York, United States of America (2010 – 2011).

She is a judge of the Ethics Committee of the Chilean Bar Association, a member of the Female Lawyers Committee and the Diversity and Inclusion Committee of the same entity, and a collaborator of ComunidadMujer.

She is co-author of “Securities Market”, Doing Business in Chile, Cámara Chileno Británica, Second Edition (2013); “The Securities Market”, Doing Business in Chile, British Chilean Chamber, Third Edition (2017); and “Update on Trade and Economic Developments in Chile”, Latin American Law & Business Report (2008).
