Morales & Besa reinforces practice areas with the addition of new associates
With the addition of seven new associates: Felipe Corvalan, Hugo Zamora, Nicolas Corbeaux, Yeny Silva, Josefa Rodriguez, Daniela Oyarzún and Omar Vasquez Morales & Besa seeks to leverage their areas of Finance, Tax, Corporate and Litigation led by partners Pedro García, Francisca Perez, Eugenio Besa and Gonzalo Cordero respectively.
Felipe Corvalan and Hugo Zamora are both experienced practitioners. Felipe is a lawyer from Universidad de Chile, with an LL.M. at the University College of London, majoring in Banking and Financial Regulation Law. He worked at Carey & Cia., in the commercial litigation department of Linklaters LLP, London and completed an internship at the Department of Competition Law of Latham & Watkins, London (2012).
Hugo is a graduate of the Catholic University of Chile, specializing in Justice and Tax Planning. He previously worked as a lawyer in the Office of the Legal Tax Litigation Branch of the Internal Revenue Service, and the Legal Department of PricewaterhouseCoopers Consultants, Auditors and Company Ltda.
Nicolas Corbeaux, a law graduate of the Catholic University of Chile, has focused his practice on corporate and litigation matters; Yeny Silva, a graduate of the University of Chile, specializes in corporate and corporate matters; Josefa Rodríguez, a graduate in law from the University of Chile, has focused her practice on corporate and market materials; Daniela Oyarzun, a graduate in law from the University of Chile, specializes in labor disputes, as well as in advising on corporate matters and labor contract; and Omar Vasquez, graduated in law from the University of Chile, specializes in corporate and financial matters.
