Latin Lawyer distinguishes Morales & Besa for Pro Bono practice

Morales & Besa was recognised for their work and commitment to Pro Bono by a survey by the British publication Latin Lawyer and Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice, the Bar Association of New York. A total of 101 -a-level international law firms participated in this research was supported by the major global banks such as: Bank of America Merrill Lynch, BTG Pactual, Credit Suisse Securities, Deutsche Bank AG, JP Morgan Securities and Morgan Stanley; in addition to the foundations of Pro Bono in different countries who helped distribute. The distinction is a recognition of the pro bono work within the law firm, the number of hours worked on this matter and the relevance of the cases taken on issues of Pro Bono.

The lawyer in charge of the topics Pro Bono Morales & Besa, Edmundo Varas, said that “it is an honor to be selected as Leading Light, since it is an international recognition of the work that the firm and its lawyers made in this area”, which it adds to the distinctions that the firm has received nationwide part of the Pro Bono Foundation.Along with Morales & Besa, other Chilean studies were also recognized by the publication, which include:.
