Morales & Besa advised Praxair Inc. in the approval of its merger with Linde before the FNE

Morales & Besa successfully advised Praxair, Inc. in the process of notification before the Fiscalía Nacional y Económica (FNE) together with Cariola Abogados.

On October 19, the FNE gave its approval to the merger of two of the the global leaders in the industrial and medicinal gases industry, Linde Aktiengesellschaft and Praxair Inc., which operate in Chile through its subsidiaries Linde Gas Chile S.A.

The operation, which was approved subject to compliance with mitigation measures by the FNE, involves amounts of over US $ 80 billion. In Chile, the measures offered will involve, among others, the divestment of the assets of Praxair Chile to MG Industries GmbH, a joint venture formed by Messer Group GmbH and CVC Advisers.
