Morales & Besa advises Banco Paris in innovative transfer of assets and liabilities

Morales & Besa successfully advised the transfer of all the assets and liabilities of the Bank of Paris related to banking products of Scotiabank Chile, including different products, and subsequent commencement of the liquidation of the banking entity.  A detailed analysis was made regarding the rules governing the transfer of each of the bank products and the specific regulations on them. The transfer structure for the implementation of the operation was then negotiated with the relevant banking authority. The operation was innovative as the structuring of sale of assets and liabilities  involved had never been implemented before in Chile.
