Morales & Besa invites clients to seminar “Practical cases of financial restructurings: Investing under a new regulatory framework”
Morales & Besa, LarrainVial and ESE Business School invited their clients to the seminar “Practical cases of financial restructurings: Investing under a new regulatory framework”, where local and international experts from the financial and legal world carried out a complete analysis of the topic.
The event, held January 11 at Club El Golf 50, provided an in depth analysis of two main issues of interest: an environment of uncertainty in the markets where investors are looking for more sophisticated financial products that provide profitability and an appropriate level of risk, and how companies in Chile today have a new regulatory framework – in which the Insolvency and Reinsurance Law stands out, which resembles the existing regulation in more developed countries.
Myriam Barahona, Partner of Morales & Besa; Sebastián Cereceda, Corporate Finance Manager of LarrainVial; Andrew Kramer Greenhill Investment Banking Partner and Andrés Mena, Partner of Kirkland & Ellis LLP (Chicago) were responsible for analyzing, through their concrete experiences, different operations of financial restructurings, both in the United States and in Chile. A Q&A session was held with the audience, led by Guillermo Morales, a founding partner of Morales & Besa. Through these types of meetings, Morales & Besa seeks to provide its clients with tools and information to enable them to successfully guide their business decisions.
