Morales & Besa participates in the pre-selection of the projects for “Pro Bono 2016 Challenge”

On December 15 and 16, at the Pro Bono Foundation, the pre-selection of the projects eligible for the Pro Bono Challenge, a competition which aims to encourage law students from all universities in the country to identify a Socio-legal need  and to contribute a solution.

On behalf of Morales & Besa, Edmundo Varas, senior associate in charge of the Pro Bono program, participated as a jury. The pre-selection took place on two different days due to the number of projects that reached this stage of the competition. This year the students’ proposals were marked by both national and international contingency issues. The pre-selected projects will move to the final round, from which the three projects to be implemented during 2017 will be finally selected under the advice of a member of the Foundation.
