Myriam Barahona, partner of Morales & Besa, participated as a panelist in the 12th Annual Latin American Energy & Infrastructure Finance Forum, organized by IJGlobal, which took place in Miami on March 13th and 14th of this year. Ms. Barahona presented in the panel “Overcoming local currency constraints and seizing opportunities in Latin American energy & infrastructure projects”, moderated by Jorge Mesinas, resident Vice President of Financial Institutions of Citibank del Perú, and where Jorge Moguel, Chief Infrastructure Officer, GIA, Paloma Lima, Partner, Machado Meyer and Francisco Diez Quiralte, Head of Business Development, LATAM, Energy Group, Canadian Solar, also participated.

This seminar counted with the great participation of the different actors in energy and infrastructure matters at a regional level, including project developers, national and foreign banks and international law firms. In the forum, discussions and topics are raised and led by exponents with extensive experience in the financing of energy and infrastructure projects in Latin America.
