Our clients appreciate our expertise and the active role we play in the development and deregulation of the Chilean energy, utilities and infrastructure sectors. We also advise on power generation, transmission and distribution, fuel transportation and distribution, water and sewage and public works regulations. We are known for advising multinational companies which have made significant investments in power plants, gas pipelines, transmission lines and privatized toll roads in Chile.

Our lawyers have cutting edge expertise in the regulatory framework that models the industry with rapid pace. We are at the forefront of the industry, having advised on emblematic projects such as:

  • Quintero – the first LNG terminal in South America
  • Some of the largest power plants operating in Chile
  • The expansion of the national grid
  • NCRE projects based on wind, water, waste and other sources recently added to the national energy matrix.

In the field of natural resources, we have been involved in all key areas of the Chilean economy. In the area of mining, we have advised numerous companies in all stages of their mining projects, including the establishment of mining property rights (concessions), permitting, financing, construction and operation of plants.
