Javiera SunEdisonProject renewable energy project internationally recognized

The Javiera SunEdisonProject was awarded the Infrastructure Journal and Project Finance Magazine “Latin Solar Project of the Year” award for its photovoltaic solar power plant Javiera. In October 2014, SunEdison announced the closing of an agreement of non-recourse debt financing for the construction of Javiera by US $ 130 million with CorpBanca and BBVA. The project represents the first time a solar plant in Chile is financed exclusively through commercial banks.
